Have you ever heard someone say "I don't believe in homeopathy"?
I have. Thank goodness you don’t have to believe in something for it to be true.
I am naturally a very skeptical person. I have to know why something works the way it does and all the ins and outs before I can get on board.
My first experience with homeopathy was giving a remedy to my then 5-year-old son who, at that time, had PANS, Anxiety, a Tic Disorder, and ASD. My son is 12 years old now but at 5 years old I had never held a conversation with him. At most, he would only answer questions when you gave him options. “Do you want A or B”? And he would always say B (the last thing offered) and many times that’s not what he wanted. He was just parroting what you were saying.
At 5 years old I had never connected with my son. He was not able to do that. He couldn’t even hold eye contact with you much less tell you what was going on in his mind.
Once I gave him his first remedy (diluted in water in a tiny dosing cup) he drank it and within 5 minutes he was telling me a story of playing with a friend on the playground and gave me so many details. This had never happened before. He had never spoken this way before.
It was like he was finally able to communicate everything that was stuck in his head for so long. He was no longer trapped. It was like I was meeting my son for the first time.
My son is now 12 years old. I do not claim homeopathy is a cure all, but it opened a whole new world for my son. We still have some health struggles, but I know without finding homeopathy my son would still be trapped in his own mind and our household would not be as pleasant as it is now.
Some say, “Oh homeopathy is only a placebo.” Well, my son didn’t know he was taking a homeopathic remedy. I also give remedies to my dogs and they have no idea they are taking a remedy.
One of my dog’s ears had a hematoma on it for weeks and nothing helped. I decided before we went the surgical route, I would try an indicated remedy and the hematoma healed in 2 days.
So, it’s ok if you don’t believe in homeopathy, I do and to me it was an answered prayer. I’m so grateful one doesn't have to believe in something for it to be real.
